Tulevaisuudentutkimuksessa  vedestä on tullut suosittu aihe. Aiemmin tänä vuonna julkaistiin Charles Fishmanin kirja “The Big Thurst”, The Seecret Life and Turbulent Future of Water., jota mm. NYT kommentoi.
